On Fridays most of us are gearing up for the weekend and slacking off a bit at work. Websurfing is high this time of week and I thought I’d do what I can to make it easy for you. Starting this Friday (May 8, 2009) I’ll be adding a regular feature to SiteRoast.com. I’m calling it “Friday Fun Links” and it’ll be a single post that includes a number of links that are worthy of being discussed, but might not necessitate an entire blog post.

Sometimes the links will all center around a particular topic, such as an event, person or category. Other times it will just be a collection of random sites all thrown together. I’m hesitating to establish more details or ground rules because I don’t exactly know where this idea will take me or if it will even be something that sticks. But we’ll give it a go and see what happens.

This week’s Friday Fun Links post will be centered around Mother’s Day, which is Sunday in case you’ve forgotten. I’ll have some links to last minute gift ideas, including some of my own, as well as other sites paying their respects to mother’s everywhere.
